Learn about the manufacturing process of rigid-flex board!

The birth and development of FPC and PCB gave birth to the new product of rigid-flex board. Rigid-soft board is a flexible circuit board and a rigid circuit board, which are combined together according to relevant process requirements through lamination and other processes to form a circuit board with FPC characteristics and PCB characteristics.

Now come with us into the rigid-flex board production workshop to learn more about the layer-by-layer process of rigid-flex board printing.

  1. Open the materials:

As the core material for making printed circuit boards, the core board is responsible for the three major functions of conductivity, insulation, and support for the printed circuit board. Its quality determines the performance, quality, processability, manufacturing level, and manufacturing of the printed circuit board. cost and long-term reliability.

2. Drilling:

High-speed drill drilling is the mainstream PCB drilling method. It uses CNC technology to drill via holes for circuit connections.

3. Copper plating: Plating a layer of copper in the hole to achieve conduction.

4. A series of layer-by-layer processes such as exposure

Exposure is to align the film (negative) under the corresponding hole position where the dry film has been pasted to ensure that the film pattern can correctly overlap with the board surface. The film pattern is transferred to the dry film on the board surface through the principle of light imaging.

Soft-rigid board is a unique processing technology, which has certain technical threshold and operational difficulty. Some PCB manufacturers may not be willing to do it or rarely do it when faced with such orders. We focus on soft Unique processing techniques such as hard-bonded boards can help you solve the problem of difficult boards, high-precision, and special boards that cannot be produced and processed. We warmly welcome customers to come and experience it.
